Judith Haschka

MD

Judith Haschka is currently Research Group Leader at the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Osteology in Vienna, Austria. She is specialist for internal medicine and rheumatology at the 1st Medical Department of the Hanusch Hospital Vienna. She received her medical degree from the Medical University of Vienna. She performed her clinical training at Barmherzige Schwestern Hospital Vienna, Austria, and the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany. She has published over 50 papers in peer-reviewed journals, is a lector at the Doctoral Programme of Applied Medical Science (N790) at the Medical University Vienna and a board member of the Austrian Society for Bone and Mineral Research and BioReg, the Austrian Biologicals-registry for inflammatory rheumatic diseases. From 2008 ongoing she works in bone research focusing on secondary osteoporosis in chronic inflammatory diseases, bone imaging techniques, biomarker identification and rare bone diseases.
